I'm stunned that you have places like we do. Why is that? We always think of Brits living in the country, or Council houses, or old, old castles, etc. But the first two photos shocked me. It's beginning to feel like home. I think I should come over there and see for myself. :)

Jeremy, you have an amazing eye for artistic photographs. Some of your work reminds me of Ansel Adams, especially the electric pylon and the shadows on the brick. and the very lonely looking buildings. Keep it up. I enjoy visiting your site. :)

Oh my. Replace the stationwagon with a 1930 flatbed truck and you have an American dustbowl picture.

More wonderful pictures! I`ve never heard of Walker Evans either. Maybe just the folks in the states know of him.

Wow! Great pics. I love the one with the rusted structure on the lush green grass ~ fabulous!

Biene- Most of us do live in council houses or castles. We have a simple feudal system which seems to work well too. I was doing homage only this morning....

Judie- Ansel Adams! I wish, but thanks for that.

Annie- We do have dust storms here, called 'fen blows'.

Tea....- Look Walker Evans up. They are marvellous.

Tart- No shortage of rusted structures here, myself included. Glad you liked the pics.
