Peak Cavern Entrance
The terraces inside Peak Cavern used to be used by rope makers, producing rope for local tin mining. Demonstrations of their techniques form the first part of the tour into the cavern.

Great pictures, Jeremy. The ones of the cave entrance and the view of the castle very atmospheric. Since I am a rock fan I found the one of the wall very interesting too. I like the shapes and the way the skeleton of cement seems to be the only thing left with any strength.
Your girls looks pretty fierce too!

Thanks Clare.
The weathered stones were inside the keep of Peveril castle. The battered looking exterior is down to the locals liberating the stone for their own buildings.
I have more rock pics to come.
