I also got quite excited about the patterns on this leaf, which I found lurking in the wheelbarrow. Perhaps I should try to get out more.

Comments:
Do I get the impression you garden with your camera around your neck? This blogging business makes us so aware of things around us. I was painting the eave trim yesterday afternoon, and wanted to take a pic of the hornet nests I found! Really!!! Your leaves look like contempo art-right up your alley.

Gorgeous colors and very like some frogs I have seen. Terrible, I know. I seem to have frogs on the brain at the moment but they are popping up literally everywhere. LOL

Beautiful ... yup, outside is full of wonder!

Smooch,
The Tart
; )

That is a fascinating pattern. And yes, Jeremy, you should get out more! :)

I'm very sorry for the loss of your mom...hugs!!!!

Beautiful garden, leaf and bug pics. I had no idea an artichoke bloomed like that...cool :)

Congrats to Barbie and your little bundles of joys :)

Beautiful colours on the leaves in your photos and your delphiniums in an earlier post are exquisite. Also, thank you for your kind comments on my blog.

Peace

Just catching up after my recent exploits, and thank you for your comments on my blog. So sorry to hear about your mother. My Grandmother 96 is Welsh and has always been a very loving and very giving person to everyone around, and I have an affinity with Wales as a result.
You have some fanastic photos loved the leaves and that bug. As for your daughters and Guatanamo man as a kid my 'Action Men' used to dissappear from my room and could be found in my sisters room in bed with her dolls. Girls wil be girls.

Yes, good leaves, very good leaves...it's one reason I love Autumn. And so important to notice these things, I think. Trailbee's right - blogging does make us more aware.

And thank you for the picture of the globe artichokes. We saw some of these in a Roman garden on the Isle of Wight and I thought they looked like globe artichokes but my husband was doubtful. Can't wait until he comes home tonight to tell him. And you think YOU should get more!
