More smug springiness
Our neighbours are on holiday at the moment. I'm sure they are living it up, being pampered and soaking up the sun. Who needs all that when one can sit in the garden and watch the flowers coming into their own? The lilac bush has been sporting stunning white blossom and the bluebells have fought their way through the undergrowth. I'm not sure whether the bluebells are native English ones or Spanish invaders, but they are very welcome.

Wow! These are so beautiful. The scent must be heavenly. Thank you! Check your email later, re these.
Thanks for popping by my blog. I see some fantastic photos on this and your Fen skies site. I have very strong memories of the Fen area, Cambridgeshire and Ely Cathedral as well as a special fondness for the Wicken Fen area especially, from wonderful times there as a chid on canal boats with the family. I felt naustaligic and suddenly very home sick when I looked through your entries. Was a great also thank you. I'll be back..
The squirrels are very accepting of my presence in the garden - they know which side their peanuts are shelled ;-) Photos can be found here: http://vintagepretty.blogspot.com/2006/03/caught-on-camera.html
Rather fuzzy, but definitely a squirrel!
The lilac and hawthorn are divine, there seems to be a good few lilacs in the locality, and with any luck I'll have one at some point too. Enjoy your gentle strolls through the countryside - I know I'm enjoying mine!
